Crazy Paving – Knowle

Tim & team landscaped our garden and we were extremely happy with the process and the result. He was very knowledgeable, organised, reliable and trustworthy. He did exactly what we requested and even more. He kept exactly to the quote and timeline. We now have a beautiful garden that we love spending time in. We would definitely recommend him to anyone.”

Deidra, Knowle

Crazy paving has long been common place in England but rarely installed today. This garden in Knowle needed an overhaul but on a limited budget. A combination of new and old paving was installed in a new curvaceous fashion to give the garden some interest. Walls were rendered and painted and a small bed was left for the customer to plant out.

Garden Makeover – Clifton

“Tim and his team completed a significant landscaping job in our garden. He advised us from the start, taking into consideration our requirements and design ideas. The work was completed on budget and in the time frame quoted. All on site issues that so often crop up with these things were explained and resolved with no fuss. I would recommend Tim and his friendly team to anyone.”
Matt Gouldsmith, Clifton, Bristol

On arrival in this garden in Clifton it was instantly apparent the scale of works expected in this garden makeover. We removed several tonnes of soil, foliage, stumps, rubble and clay. We then found some very questionable groundworks which were replaced. Retaining walls were built incorporating a new lighting system. A render was put on to hide the blockwork. This would later be painted. Paving was installed to match that of the inside flooring.

The end wall was completely held up by ivy so a new footing was poured and new stonework built incorporating a set of driveway gates for access. Several tonnes of blended loam were brought in to improve the quality of the soil and new medallion turf laid courtesy of Ray Coxs of Yate.

Garden Makeover – Redland

“From our initial chat regarding the design of our garden right the way through the process of sourcing, and creating the new space, Tim and his team were exemplary. Punctual, polite, hard working, creative and with excellent communication throughout the project. We’ve had so many “wows!” from our friends & family and are ecstatic with our garden; it’s perfect for our little ones to play in as well as a wonderful retreat with a g&t. Tim and his team are consummate professionals and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them. Thank you to everyone.”

Emily & Theron – Redland

This job in Redland had many challenges. After an extensive site clearance all the walls had to be checked and found to be unsafe so an complete rebuild and repoint was needed. The site had a lot of surprises for us from vast bamboo networks to hidden groundworks. The whole area was levelled by hand as access would not allow even a mini excavator. Once prepare we then installed some floating oak seating, venetian trellis, paving, completed some rendering and built a small shed . An artificial lawn was then laid and secured into place to complete the garden makeover.

Wildlife Pond – Long Ashton

Tim & his team built our pond for us in four days and what a result! We are really pleased with it and looking forward to seeing it develop. Tim was very reliable and the cost was very reasonable considering the work involved. We were very grateful for Tims knowledge about building and planting ponds as we are pond novices”

Patio & Pond – Horfield

The old patio in Horfield was un-level and very dated so after showing Nicola a variety of different slabs these natural sandstone slabs were chosen. After some re-levelling the new slabs were put down and cut around the pond. They were sealed with paving sealant to stop any fading or staining and pointed with dry mortar mix.

Courtyard garden – Montpelier

“After a recommendation from our neighbour, we asked Tim to quote to remove a raised flower bed and pave our back garden and Tim responded quickly with a reasonable price. We were delighted with the overall finish as Tim and the team were able to incorporate the existing stone within the new design to great effect whilst also using the railway sleepers from the old flowerbed to form the outer low-level wall. We have since used them more recently to build our new shed and replace some broken fencing which we are also very happy with. We have recommended Tim to all our family and friends as a result of the excellent work.”

Jack Pearson, Montpelier

Access at this property was appalling so after carefully taking 15 tonnes of top soil through the house a new patio was installed using a combination of old and new paving to keep costs down. The unsightly wall was repaired and underpinned. The concrete was then concealed using the old sleepers and old railway pins were used to be in keeping with the rustic finish.

Green Roof Bike Store

A Garden building doesn’t have to be something simply to house your odds and ends. This bike store in Henleaze is also now a great place for wildlife allowing pollinating insects to thrive, whilst also adding a splash of colour to the area.
