Decking in Redland

“Just writing to say what a wonderful job you and your colleagues have done on my decking. I recommend you very highly. The deck is structurally sound, with attention to detail and you took care with my spec for wheelchair access. The whole job was really well-planned, you kept the site clean and tidy throughout and you and your colleagues have been a pleasure to work with. Thank you.”

Courtyard Garden – Henleaze

We work very closely with our clients to ensure that the finished landscaping project is both suitable for their needs and in line with their tastes. After a few design consultations this courtyard garden was designed and built. Reclaimed bricks create a rustic storage area at the side of the property and the sandstone paving, contrasting the pinkish shades of the bricks creates an area for potted planting and a bbq sun trap.

Have you considered having your very own wildlife pond?

A pond is an attractive feature in any garden and, with a little thought about its design and construction, can also be a haven for wildlife. During the past century, nearly 70 percent of ponds have been lost from the UK countryside, meaning garden ponds and water features have an increased importance for wildlife.

Tiered city garden, Montpelier Bristol

We’re proud of the work we do at Stockman Landscaping, and are of course always over the moon to hear that customers are pleased too. Here’s a before and after of a job Tim and team recently completed for Julia in Montpelier:

She said:

“I am very pleased with the work done by Tim Stockman in my small tiered city garden. He had to replace retaining walls and ugly concrete steps that had become dangerous – but he also suggested some nice herringbone brickwork at the base of the steps instead of the old cracked paving which now looks lovely.

Tim gave me a good price for the whole job, and reused bricks where he could, he always kept me posted on progress, and made sure that plants and shrubs I wanted to keep were dug up and potted up out of harms way while the work went on. All the old concrete and debris was taken away at the end, and the garden was left neat and tidy. Despite working in the cold in January, he completed the work on schedule. I’m delighted with the work done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tim & his team or use them again when I need landscaping work done.”

Fire Pit & York Stone Pavers – Clifton

“Tim Stockman’s landscaping team worked tirelessly to achieve the results in my garden which I had hoped for. They are cooperative and nothing is too much trouble. I have no hesitation in recommending them.”

Brenda – Clifton

The old patio in Clifton was uneven and its pointing was in poor condition. After cleaning the slabs and re-levelling the ground the area was ready for a new and improved patio with the inclusion of a fire pit. The old wooden lean to was also rebuilt giving it a new lease of life.
